INSTRUCTIONS FOR WRITING POSTCARDS FROM HOME
The Broward Democratic Party postcard campaign is fueled by an energized group of volunteers that understands the impact of voter turnout in government elections and how a simple reminder can bring voters to the polls.
In Broward County, voter turnout is key! As of 2022, Broward County had:
- 597,314 Registered Democrats
- 20,257 Independent Party of Florida
- 375,712 Registered No Party Affiliation
- 268,727 Registered Republicans
As we approach the 2024 Presidential election, our goal is to inundate Broward County voters with postcards, reaching out to every registered Democratic, Independent, and those with no party affiliation (NPAs) to remind them how much their vote means. By sending handwritten postcards, we hope to convey a personal message that every vote counts in the upcoming election.

PRO TIPS
- Please write legibly and avoid cursive script.
- Do not sign your last name or include your return address, personal email, Facebook, etc.
- Feel free to make your postcards colorful.
COMMON QUESTIONS
- How do I get the postcards?
1. You can purchase postcards at many stores or even use 4×6” index cards, which go through the postal system just fine.
2. We recommend these two options on Amazon because they provide a larger space to write your message. Option 1 | Option 2 - What if I can’t afford postage stamps?
1. We don’t want this to be a barrier to your postcard writing. You can return the completed postcards with no addresses and we will try to get donations of stamps.
2. If you do buy postage stamps, be sure to purchase postcard stamps because they are priced lower than stamps you use for letters or packages. - Who can I contact with other questions?
