A commitment to education is an investment that produces positive results in reduction of crime, better health, economic prosperity, and a stronger democracy.
Broward County, Florida is home to the nation’s sixth largest public school system and the largest fully accredited district in the nation with over 260,000 students in more than 310 schools and education centers. Our commitment to education in Broward must be resilient to sustain our infrastructure and obligation to providing opportunities for a successful future for our children and our community. To do that we must ensure that our schools and educators have the resources needed to complete their mission, and that those resources are properly used.
